I have been here a few times and always have a good experience. We would always get the chicken lettuce wraps as an appetizer. Excellent! The drinks are good and the staff was fast and friendly and always coming by to refill glasses. I love the Singapore Street Noodles as an entree, in fact so much that I always stick with that! Prices are good also.

This place is amazing! I love the food here! I always order the kapow chicken, but I get it with out the chili peppers! This meal has a marinated chicken, scallions, white rice, and peanuts... This meal is so delicious! They have very tasty drinks but they also serve a mascato di Asti wine which most places only serve mascato.... This is my favorite wine, all though u couldn't by the glass, the bottle was expensive but it was very tasty! The chicken lo mein is also very yummy too, this place really knows how to put the right combination of food together! I tried their red velvet cake and omg it was delicious I devoured it so quickly lol! The staff is really friendly, but the place is usually really cold so make sure you bring a sweater!!!

The people that hang around this place have a very snippy attitude and I was the only Asian person dining in the restaurant so I received many stares but other than that, the food was deliciously spectacular and the waiters we had were had a great personality and did a stupendous job taking care of us and all of our foodie needs. The place was packed and we had a party of four so we only waited for a good 15-20 minutes but it seemed shorter than that. I had to walk away from the area because there were other women staring me from head to toe. Hey, I'm a petite, thin girl. I expect them to be jealous but I don't need to put up with their sneering looks so walking away from the situation seemed like the best choice and when we walked back to the restaurant, it was just in time for us to be seated. This is actually my first time trying PF Chang's. I have always heard mixed reviews about it from mouth but I wanted to take it to the test with my taste buds and finally! Almost all of our entrees that we ordered and tried were a great choice and cooked just right with the right kind of seasoning: Pepper Steak with green onions, Gluten-free Caramel Mango Chicken seared in vegetable broth(new!), gluten-free rice noodles omitted shrimp, brussel sprouts, cucumber salad, and spicy green beans. Take a look at my pictures and see if you would like to try these too! Tip: Dress nice. No flip flops or tank tops. Watch out for crazy drivers. Don't panic. Have a positive attitude and be happy.

Food was great, waiter was great. The problem is the temperature was like 20 degrees. Its hard to enjoy your food when your frozen.

The hubs and I used to go to PF Chang's in college all the time. Since living in South Florida we hadn't gone until this past Valentine's Day. It was not our top choice for the holiday, but plan A didn't work. As a consequence, we wound up waiting for an hour and a half. While we chalked it up to the holiday crowd, we had noticed it being busy when previously in the area. Since it was our first time back in awhile, I had to revisit an old favorite, orange chicken with white rice while my husband had his favorite mongolian beef. Both dishes that night were better than we remembered; so much so that I ate a lot of his (whoops!) We had plenty left over which made for delicious lunch the next day. We went back tonight as we were both craving mongolian beef. This time we were smarter and made a reservation. We only had to wait 35 minutes while everyone else arriving were quoted an hour to an hour and a half. Tip: do youselves a favor and do the same if/when you go. We were sat right by the door which was kind of distracting with the crowds, but we sat as away from it as possble and our server was sweet. My husband was impressed with her ability to anticipate what we needed without us having to ask. We ordered as soon as we sat down and despite the crowd, our dinner came surprisingly quickly; good thing because we had a movie to catch. If I'm being completly honest, it was a little disappointing this time. The meat was over cooked and rather tough. The dish was also a little overpowered with scallions, perhaps to compensate for the meat. We both got white rice which was moist and fluffy. The server brought us more rice without us having to ask. We had a lot of food left over this visit as well, but my husband said it was not edible. We will be back to PF Chang's but if we have a repeat of tonight's experience, we may have to send it back. We're hoping it had to do with the crowds, although they were equally busy on our first visit back.

It never upsets it's so unhealthy but my family always enjoys it. Especially the lettuce wraps and ribs! Get the fried rice. It will feed u for a week!

Foods excellent and wait staff is extremely friendly, but every time I've been here, the host staff have been extremely rude and slow. To have such an inexperienced and rude hosting staff ruins the experience!

We had a great experience. Our service was top notch. Our server Jamie was very cordial and professional. Food was excellent. Would recommend, especially the great service. We will return for the quality service we got.

I've been here a couple of times and always order the Mongolian Beef. Everyone always likes it, it's consistently good so I just stuck to that until last night. As much as I like that plate, I wanted something different. I looked through the menu - it's been a while since I've done this here - and saw the Singapore Street Noodles. This are thin rice noodles with chicken, shrimp, and vegetables in a light curry sauce. And the dish is Gluten Free. I started eating it and loved it, the only thing I noticed was that there was beef and no shrimp in it. Also, the menu didn't say this was spicy but my plate was, still, I thought it was delicious so I kept eating it, I was really enjoying my food. All of the sudden, our waiter comes with a second plate, and apologizes for giving me the wrong one. Apparently another table had customized this same plate and they got them mixed up. They insisted I kept both and the second one was on the house. Love when you get great service like that. We were a party of 9 so the Mongolian beef was ordered, as I said, always good. We also had the Pork and Vegetable Dumplings, the spring rolls, and the Crispy Green Beans - I love the spicy sauce it comes with. The Lo Mein looked really good, the Chang's Spicy Chicken sweet with a little kick to it, really liked this one too. Another favorite at the table was a new drink they have which is like a Strawberry Lemonade with Cucumbers. Non-Alcoholic, with pieces of fresh strawberries and cucumber inside. My sister had ordered another drink and after tasting this one asked the server if she could change it. He left her original drink at the table, removed it from the check, and brought her the other drink. One more proof of how great our server was. He was very attentive, very helpful with recommendations, and very accommodating. He even waived at the last two in our group to walk in through the door, as if he was part of our party, to let them know where we were seated, and welcomed them with a smile. Lastly we could not leave without my sister's favorite dessert, the Banana Spring Rolls. Six warm, crispy bites of banana served with coconut-pineapple ice cream and drizzled with caramel and vanilla sauces. I can't say I'm a fan of the Banana Part but that Ice Cream is definitely the star of the plate. It's not too sweet, with pieces of coconut inside, which pairs perfectly with the fresh raspberries and blackberries that come with the plate. We ended the night full, with leftovers for lunch (portions are very generous), reading our fortunes, and laughing. I am so glad I tried different things this time, and that we had such amazing service. The experience was excellent and will make us keep coming back for more.

Have had better Asian for lower prices. The table configuration was awkward and made for uncomfortable seating. Service was slow but decent. The food was rather bland and uninspired. Not the worst dining experience I've had, but I'd sooner go to other restaurants.

This place never disappoints. I come here at least once a month. For the price you can get a nice dinner and drink and they are always consistent with their food. The service at this location is always excellent. Im a wonton soup, panfried dumpling, lettuce wrap and mongolian beef kinda guy. But their pad thai is pretty awesome too. The food always comes out fast and i can get in and out. I usually go straight for the bar and dine there to avoid all the hassle of waiting. Their margaritas are pretty good especially the agave margarita has a awesome orange quick.

Gluten Free = Heaven! This place is perfect. I love their gluten free menu. Appetizer: You have to try the chicken lettuce wraps. I love the fact that the lettuce is fresh and crispy. The chicken has mushrooms, green onions and water chestnuts served over crispy rice sticks. The flavor is delicious. Drinks: Make sure to try the Organic Agave Margarita. This is made with Patron Silver and Organic Agave Nectar with fresh lime juice. It was so refreshing. I had to have two. Usually for dinner I try to stick with something I normally get. The Beef and Broccoli has always been my favorite. However, this time I did not want to play it safe. I decided to order Chang's Spicy Chicken. I was afraid it would be too spicy but it was great. This had Sweet & spicy chili sauce. It was so delicious. I would definitely consider ordering this again. I also tried the Singapore street noodles and I wasn't too big of a fan. It was just ok. You can't forget to order a side of pork fried rice. I could eat a dozen plate of pork fried rice. Service here was great. Our waiter was very attentive and the food was ready quickly. He was very informative. He even suggested that my boyfriend try a different drink than the one her was ordering. Very outgoing guy. Hope to see him again when we return. They have really good lunch specials by the way and happy hour! Make sure you reserve online or get their early. This place tend to get extremely pack We decided to just stop by once and the waiting time was an hour and 30mins. So we decided to go to another place. Bummer!

So tasty! I've just recently discovered PF Chang's and am so glad I did. This has to be some of the tastiest Asian cuisine that I have ever had. Nice sized portions for the price. Do your self a favor and try the Mongolian Beef! Addicting!!

  • Dan M.

Good service. Steamed dumplings tasted like an overpriced soggy waffle the morning after a long night drinking. Mongolian beef was on point as always and the sea bass was actually pretty scrumptious. Try the crab wontons - incredible but different appetizer.

  • Dustin M.

I've never been to a PF Chang's before, but it was a fairly neutral experience. Hostess and waitress were very nice. We went around 2pm so it wasn't very busy, but our waitress seemed swamped with a bunch of tables. So it took a little longer than usual to order. Crab Wontons as an app were perfect. And thank god the waitress asked if we wanted the normal size or lunch size for our meals. The normal size was spot on, the lunch size def would not have been enough for a regular/hungry dude. The girl that was with us said her meal was tasty (Shang-hi Curry Noodles maybe?), but seemed exactly the frozen Asian meals you can get at Publix, referring to the texture of the noodles. Which is probably true. I'd roll there again though.

I was there this past Saturday with a party of 11 family members . (Julian) our server was outstanding . The food was great , the appetizers were great . Service was overall top notch . The only con is that you need to make a reservation otherwise on any given Saturday this place is packed. By the way this is always my choice when eating at a Chinese / Asian restaurant . I would recommend this location to anyone looking to eat at a good Chinese restaurant .

Love this PF Changs location in Boca Raton! They are so consistent always with their food and service! They have one of the best happy hours around from 3-6pm so I often go there for jot sake and appetizers. This PF Changs on Glades Rd. is one of the best PF Changs I have been to ever! I love coming here!

Im so aggravated I spent $80 dollars tonight at P FChang's (birthday) and the food was just awful! almost all of the dishes tasted the same to me.the eggplant was salty. The sweet & sour chicken was mushy. The meat on the spare ribs was hard & dry . The salt&pepper calamari were cold hard small & limited.Very off putting food. Out of the 7 dishes I ordered only 1 was good and that was the pad thai. I've been to P J. CHANG'S several times. I always found it to be only fair! People tell me its "good" so I continue to patronize even if conflicting reviews, comments & my own experiences tell me its not good! Well not anymore!

Food and service were excellent. Was very lively, crowded and noisy. The wait for a table was a bit longer than promised.

  • Bill S.

The food is good, but not great here and the lines to get in are always crazy long. Service can be spotty here and really depends on what FAU student is working that shift. If you want more upscale authentic Asian food without the lines and way better service, go to Uncle Tais near the mall.

  • Jayadeep Y.

Awesome experience with the Chinese food...like the chicken lettuce wraps in Chinese style...the service was really quick...they gave or food in jus 15 mins including the main course...Pad Thai is good...

  • Sally S.

Our waitress was very nice, however I can not say the same about the hostesses. They were not helpful at all. They did not seat us for 15 minutes and when I confronted them about a table being open they said "yes that's the only one available" and sat us down. I don't see why they made us wait since the same table was empty since we got there. However, the food was delicious!

I always enjoy PF Chang's. I cannot think of a time I have ever had a bad experience here. Usually I end up eating the same thing. I always want to get something different but I really love the Ma Po Tofu. It is so flavorful and delicious. I also like the veggie dumplings which I prefer fried but steamed tastes good too. My favorite appetizer here is the tofu lettuce wraps. They have very good side dishes too like the spicy green beans. I used to eat dessert here. As a vegan I am limited now. When I did eat dessert here I loved the chocolate cake. I also liked the banana spring rolls which might be alright I believe if I ask them to put the ice cream and sauces on the side for whoever I am with. I will have to check on that. Overall, this is one of my favorite all time restaurants.

We have been here a few times. The food is okay. Nothing special. When I come I usually come for the chicken lettuce wraps and I usually come during happy hour.

I was not disappointed. The food is decent. We had the Ahi crisp which was pretty good. The Mongolian beef, crispy honey chicken and the chicken in bean sauce. All were good. The pork fried rice was really good as well. My favorite was the green onions of the Mongolian beef. I was not too thrilled with the service. It was not bad, but it felt a bit mechanical maybe rushed.

The food is always good and consistent. They've had a special running for quite a while where you get 2 soups, 1 appetizer, 2 entrees, and a small dessert for $39.95!! My favorite dishes include Lettuce Wraps, Tataki Tuna, Mongolian Beef, and Pad Thai (a recent addition).. Definitely recommend for a romantic dinner, birthday, or celebration of sorts! :-)

I came here with my FL relatives. As far as Chinese cuisine goes, I didn't really like this place. To be fair, though, there are a lot of authentic Chinese restaurants in Los Angeles, so I am a bit biased. The food is good. My parents weren't big fans-the food is too Americanized for them. Go figure. Ambiance is loud, crowded, each table to its own kinda thing. Service/staff was good. Ample parking.

Food is great , but they need a serious staff meeting ! They need to stress that they work in a HOSPITALITY industry , never seen such miserable people working there. Bartenders with 0 personality and waiters that seemed annoyed at every question. We were a party of 12 and everyone was not happy.

  • Lauren M.

The food is good. Not necessarily completely amazing, but good. However, the five stars are because of the very accommodating manager. I forget her name. It was Gianna or Rebecca or Diana or something else ending in that sound. Anyway, when I requested an allergen menu, I got one, as well as the something-a manager coming out to explain that all of the meats are marinated in egg. The allergen menu, by the way, is something that is unique to P.F. Changs and is another reason why I give it five stars. They can print you out a custom menu that filters out the dishes containing certain allergens like wheat, dairy, and eggs, or any combination of allergens. Pretty awesome, right? Granted, I only asked for the allergen menu not because I'm truly allergic, but because I'm vegan, and am insensitive to dairy and egg, but this was really kind of her. She even came to our table again when the food was delivered to explain that all dishes from the allergen menu come out on a special plate with a P.F. Changs logo on it that I had never noticed before, so you can be assured that there was no cross-contamination.

PF Changs and pork tacos don't seem like a match made in heaven but Changs made it happen! I went here the other night for the Triple Happiness Happy Hour at the bar which they have from 3p to 6p (I think only on the weekdays, not sure) the bar area was absolutely dead so more savings and cheap drinks for me! This was my first time at this location and I was a bit surprised at how small it was, I think it's the smallest Changs I've ever seen. Oh well, I don't need space but I have an empty bar area. The specials are pretty decent they have beer, wine and speciality drinks on hand alone with a number of appetizers like their famous lettuce wraps, wontons and as I mentioned before, tacos. I'm big on the big and Mexican food, so why not order it at an asian place yes? Surprisingly tasty with its hefty portion of pork tacos and pico de gallo. I will definitely be going back for that! If you go in, be sure to sign up a Warrior Card--you can only sign up in stores and you get tons of discounts and special offers sent to you!

Yuck-fooey. Food not so good. You can get much better Chinese food at any hole-in-the-wall Chinese carryout. I had the orange chicken and the honey chicken. Both have a funky taste, creating almost a gag response. Their frozen dinners probably taste the same. Maybe that is what they are serving? The sweet and sour soup was yucky also. How can you screw up Chinese? From my vantage point at the bar, there was not a single Asian working in the kitchen which was staffed at about 15 people. In fact, I did not see a single Asian working in the entire place. That is like flying to Italy to eat Thai food... it just doesn't make sense. No wonder it's so bad. The decor is 5 stars. Too bad the food does not live up to the decor. Save yourself a few bucks and get their frozen dinner at Publix, it will likely taste the same.

STILL recovering from back surgery and not sure that I would be able to sit throughout a lengthy meal, I opted to try out their "online ordering" service. I had heard that the chicken with black bean sauce was delicious so I ordered that with some brown rice. I've ALWAYS loved their succulent "Chang's Ribs" appetizer so I ordered that too. Ordering online was simple. I simply made a name with password and then ordered my food. The drop down menus were easy to comprehend and, you can even tell the restaurant what time and date you will be there to retrieve your order. I KNEW that I would be in the vicinity between 6:20 and 6:30 on Monday night, so I put that. Ordering online also gave me the opportunity to choose whether I wanted to pay for my food before I arrived or to list that I would pay WHEN I picked up the food. I chose the latter. In any case, I arrived to the restaurant at 6:30 after luckily finding a parking spot close to the restaurant. (Parking during this time-frame is almost next to impossible to find which is why most opt for valet). After being greeted by several friendly hostesses, I was led to the back bar for my take-out order. I was greeted by another friendly person that asked me what my name was and immediately went to retrieve my order. It was ready and, she just asked if I required any chopsticks, fortune cookie or anything else. I was there basically less than five minutes; where-by, my order was picked up and paid for all with no hassle or wait time. Upon arriving at home, I noticed that the packaging was done very well with everything secure and placed in the bag carefully. The ribs were still warm and meaty on a bed of fresh, colorful slaw, which I didn't partake in. There were six (6) total but I ate only two and savored the rest for another meal. I DID notice that the portion of the chicken with black bean sauce was smaller than what would normally be served dining inside the restaurant, but the portion was enough for me, so I was satisfied. I was given napkins, chopsticks and fortune cookie as well as a container of brown rice. I was glad that I tipped the girl a few bucks that was friendly and packed my order with little delay. I don't know if this is the norm for people to do with respect to take-out ordering, but I thought it warranted it. The white chicken slices were plentiful in the dish, moist and tender.....almost melted in my mouth while accompanied with bites of brown rice that was cooked properly and not overdone. I ate 1/3 of it and again, filling up rather easily, I saved the remainder for the next day's lunch or dinner. I thoroughly enjoyed the entire experience and grateful that it was an "in / out" quick and painless experience for take- out service. I recall seeing how crowded it was when I initially walked in with parties waiting even outside for their tables and knew that I had chosen the right method for myself in the way of dinner planning. I enjoy Asian fusion very much and, this was a delightful meal and over-all wonderful online ordering experience. In fact, tonight (4/28/11) I received an email with a promotion that if I ordered online, I would get 20% off my order, but I wasn't in the mood to have Asian Fusion twice in one week although it was very tempting. Hopefully, you will have the same experience as I did with ordering online from this lovely establishment.

Not a big fan of P.F. Chang's. It's simply overpriced Chinese food served in a basically a loud giant Bar. The one thing I like about P.F. Chang's is the service is always good at this location and their happy hour specials are mighty tasty; Duck Tacos anyone?

Surprisingly, Yelp has no reviews or info for the Boca location of this chain restaurant. Especially, since it's always packed. Food is consistently delicious. I go a few times a year and always get Mongolian Beef. Crispy stir fried beef with scallions. It's always good. I've had it at Pei Wei's and it's just as good but lacks the P.F. Chang's ambiance. The restaurant is loud, dark and often crowded, but it still a fun place to go. Lunch and dinner are both always good. Service is decent. The banana won ton dessert is off the chain. Recommend as a classic for meet ups with family, friends or business.

Made reservations for my beau's birthday which was great because they seated us immediately. The food was nothing special as far as taste was concerned but the presentation was great. The waiter was what made the evening great. He was funny, observant and helpful. The hostess had originally told me that since my beau's birthday was not that day they wouldn't do anything special but our waiter made it happen regardless. I would return if not for the food but for the laid back atmosphere and great service.

The more I eat here, the more I realize that the food is not authentic Chinese food. Often go to the Boca location for lunch for their lunch special and food is not consistent. Spring rolls are the worse I've tasted. Service is good however and the atmosphere is nice to blow a lunch hour.

Good atmosphere (large, active, dimly lit room with bar). Better ambience than a real chinese restaurant. Average service although they were dropping stuff everywhere. The food however was hit or miss. The fried rice was not good, even though it's one of the easiest things to make for a true asian chef. The singapore street noodles were salty with no other pronounced flavor, they are much better at 5-spice asian bistro nearby. The pan seared lamb was decent, if not a little salty (and I like salt). It seems like the ingredients are of decent quality but the cooks just don't know how to put them together. I've been here maybe 4 times over the past five years, so I guess this is what PF Changs market research wants their food to taste like.

I've been coming here for the last 10 years and food is always great EXCEPT for take out. Avoid take out at ALL COSTS!!! Over done cold food, small portions, missing orders. Seriously PF Chang: Get a grip and fire your take out staff!

The Ft. Lauderdale one is definitely better than the Boca one. I ate there 2x recently and had Mongolian beef. It was tough and chewy. The quality of meat has definitely gone down. And their chicken lettuce wraps are mostly water chestnuts now. But the crab rangoon is still yummy and the service is great.

We finally found a good Chinese restaurant in South Florida, and we've lived here since 1990. Sorry we waited till now to try it. I had always heard that P.F. Chang's was okay, nothing special, and overpriced. None of this is true. The egg rolls were terrific, the egg drop soup was the best I've ever had (and I have it at every Chinese restaurant I go to), and the entrees were delicious. Our party had shrimp with lobster sauce (Boston style), Mongolian beef, and grilled salmon. Yumm for all three. To top it all off, the service was wonderful, and the prices weren't bad either--not cheap, but not outrageous. Can't wait to go back! My only hint for others is to make a reservation before you go, especially if you go on a weekend. My party had a reservation and got seated within ten minutes. Those that didn't have reservations had to wait over an hour for a seat. And expect it to be loud. Luckily, we sat in a booth so we could easily hear each other talk, but if we'd been sitting at a table in the middle of the restaurant, we probably would have had to shout at each other.

My wife, 7-month daughter, and I went there early this month (2/06) as part of our (hopefully) annual trip south. We used to live in Delray Beach and PF's was a staple for us. Sadly, the food and service (somewhat) have slipped in our last visit and I can only give it three stars. The place is always busy, and on weekday nights and weekends you may have better luck at the bar.

Good. Really tasty and not greasy. Just about every dish I've had here was satisfying. I like the ginger chicken and broc, etc. Atmosphere is comfortable and fits the ideal of a Chinese restaurant. Wait can be long, depending on the time and day. Affordable. Good for a date, group of friends, or the family.

The line is long like all other P.F. Chang's, the food is always good, especially since I didn't have to pay for it when I was last over there.

this restaurant looks just as good on the outside, but somehow it was a letdown on the inside compared to the one in central florida. the service left much to be desired for, and the food was a little on the bland side.

Food is always good but why after a year do I still come into a restaurant with food-caked silverware?? That is such a turnoff I can't come in as often. I like PF Changs' other locations. Their new app really rocks as does making reactions through it. If they can do all the glitz surely they can do fundamentals like cleaning food out if the dishwasher trap so when they do their alleged triple wash it doesn't coat the silverware with a crust film. This place needs the health department. Avoid. Avoid. Avoid this unit!

I come here often for happy hour. Between 3-6pm everyday, they have discounts on drinks and food. I am not sure if this pertains to the regular tables, but it does for the bar. Each time that I have been here, the service has been great and so has the food. Their menu does accommodate vegetarians easily. I normally order the tofu lettuce wraps, which is my favorite appetizer here. It is so delicious! I love cucumbers, so I get the shanghai cucumbers as well. It is nothing more than cucumbers cut up and marinating in soy and sesame seeds. Even being so simple, I order it every time because its good. For the meals, if I had to pick my favorite dish, I would go for the Ma Po Tofu. I get it medium spicy. It comes with steamed broccoli and crispy silken tofu. It is in a vegetarian sauce, which includes ginger and chili paste. The amount of chili paste is what makes the level of spiciness. If you do come for happy hour, and looking to have a few drinks too. I highly recommend the PFX!

I am such a sucker for this place! Americanized Chinese food! Everything tastes good but... I can't get enough of the salt and pepper calamari, the sichuan scallops (they are soo spicy and delicious!) and don't even to mention the "great wall of chocolate!" Coming here for desert alone is worth the trip. I don't care what anyone says this is one of my favorite restaurants!

Delicious food great Decor AWFUL service unfriendly personnel We used to love this place but twice we've had problems with the sitting arrangements First time, we had a baby stroller and decided to move to a booth instead of a table and for more than 20 mins nobody showed up,not even for drinks. when we finally complained was when the Manager came to say that they couldn't allow strollers there! It took him 20 mins to tell us that and no apologies for IGNORING us! Next time we went it was late and Rest had plenty of empty tables but the Hostess gave us the table right next to the kitchen. I asked her if we could sit in the next table, by the window and she said she "had to check her sitting plan" and made a face :( Really??

Wesley was our waiter. He is awesome! Very attentive during a busy dinner. The food was delicious! We ordered the $39.99 meal (hot & sour soups, lettuce wrap chicken, sea bass fish, orange shrimp) and honey chicken. The portion was descent. Two thumbs up from me =)

The food is consistently good. I have noticed the under paid staff stealing food off of the plates and throwing it in their mouths prior to taking the food to the table. The beauty of an open kitchen. I tend to do take out and watch from the sideline. The food is always good but the service staff sucks. Totally worth take out!

Now I'd never go here on my own dime--I'm not a fan of chain restaurants, especially chain ethnic restaurants--and the pseudo-upscale atmosphere along with the unimaginative Boca diners who pack this place makes me cringe. But having been given a gift card, we managed to have a decent dinner here: Chicken Lettuce Wraps, Beef with Broccoli, and Lemon Scallops (not on the regular menu). The noise level is such that you can't hear your dining companion, and the A/C constantly blows freezing air on you, but that's not enough to deter the legions of fans!

I almost hate to say it but its 'okay'. I'll start with what I do like: DECOR! I always say a restaurant's attention to detail when it comes to decor is crucial. I love their decor. Nice price range of options. What I don't like: the food was okay. IDK why but I was expecting an amazing asian experience of flavor on my tongue and it was alright. I ordered the Moo Goo Gai Pan and it was bland, (which the waiter mentioned but he offered a 'special' sauce to liven things up! Thank God for that sauce! Its a mix of potsticker sauce, soy sauce and something spicy! My friend had the lettuce wraps and the little chicken quesadilla looking things... her food was flavored better but still not amazing! Our waiter was really cool though, we came in .5hrs before closing time and as we ordered his mood livened up and by the time we were leaving, he'd made the visit pretty cool. ***The bathroom was gorgeous! I will give Pf Changs that, absolutely beautiful decor**** Also, there is an outdoor patio for not so nippy days!

I called ahead because this place is always full no matter where you visit. No surprise it still took 20 minutes after our reservation time to be seated. One plus is that they did have Braille menus! Thanks guys! But, my appreciation ends with the Braille menus. I don't really like chain restaurants but lacking of good Chinese food in Orlando requires me to get my Asian on from time to time at PF Chang's. The one in Orlando is always busy but is heads and shoulders above this location! Well the one in Boca is so crowded you can't think, eat in peace, or have any meaningful conversation. The food seems to lack flavor as other reviewers have stated. I visited this time because my family wanted to go because they liked the one in Orlando. Huge mistake! The staff was friendly and they are to be commended for working in such a chaotic environment. I really will never visit this place when in the area again In fact, based on this experience I might never visit another PF Chang's again to eat in. I think I'll stick to ordering my food and eating it at home.

I've always been a fan of PF Changs; after all it was one of my first jobs while going to college. This was our first night of vacation in FL. The hostesses up front were kind of in LA LA land, but other than them, the experience was great. We had a fun server named Jen who hooked us up with a large SAKI and large saporo, thanks Jen! We ordered the usual; mongolian beef, lamb, and we tried something new the almond cashew chicken. We ended it with my favorite dessert there, the great wall of chocolate..mmmmmmmmm!! Can't ever go wrong with PF Changs!

I know it's a chain, which I'm usually against from the start...but it's just hard for me to dislike this place. The ambiance is beautiful, and the Mongolian beef is one of my favorite dishes ever. Slightly sweet and garlicky, with green onions and flavorful, tender beef...mmm! So worth it. I also love their $39.99 special for two, which comes includes two soups, an appetizer, two entrees & two mini desserts (which are just enough to satisfy your sweet tooth without being too much). I usually pick pretty much the same things, Wonton Soup, lettuce wrap, and the Mongolian beef. The soup is nothing special, but the lettuce wraps are another gem. Crisp, fresh lettuce leaves used to encase chicken in a delicious sauce, with crispy noodles...texturally, flavor wise...everything about them is just delicious. Over the years I've tried a few other dishes, and while I don't think any are terrible, none of the other are anything memorable enough to come back for. Service can be kind of slow, but it is well worth it if you're craving non-traditional, but mouth-watering Asian fare (at least the Mongolian beef and lettuce wraps).

IT WAS THE WORSE EXPERIENCE EVER!! The place was packed as usual which is no big deal. I figured it would probably take 45-60 minutes for us (just a party of 2) to get a table. As I was standing behind the counter, I was amazed (not in a good way) and disgusted by the hostess station. There were 4-5 hostesses working, but there were truly only 2 that actually worked. One hostess was taking customers to their seat and the other one was answering the phone and taking reservation (I think). The other three hostesses were ... well 2 of them decide to ignore everyone and kept pretending to look at the computer screen. Another girl just kept on buzzing people's pager although none of the table is ready. Since she kept buzzing, a whole bunch of people are just dying to rush in to get their table - the whole place was filled with confused and hungry people who demand to know where and when they can be seated. I stood in front of the hostess for 15 minutes or so while I kept on hearing her telling everyone she buzzed '"ust a moment, please!" instead of actually getting customers seated. I was as patient as possible because I get it - it can be overwhelming. Finally, the hostess, who enjoyed buzzing people in, acknowledge the fact that I have been standing in front of her for more than 10 mins. When I told her party of 2, she said 'There will be a 2 hours wait.' WTF?!?!?! Yes they were packed but it's not that packed. Considering I am only a party of 2, does it really take 2 hours??? Of course, we left and will never go back again. For a famous restaurant such as PF Chang, how can they not be more organized??? Recommendation: hire more experienced hostess or train them better

The food here was completely delicious, the staff was friendly and helpful and the atmosphere very nice. We went on a whim to this place one night and had a great time. They were very accommodating to my daughter's food allergy, even bringing out paperwork showing what foods included what. The staff was quick and friendly and we didn't have empty glasses for long. The food itself was wonderful and the portion sizes were great for the costs.

Went for an early dinner and found out that they have a happy hour drink and food menu. I got an Asian pear mojito for $6 but it just tasted like a regular mojito. They also have the 4 course meals for 2 for $40. The boyfriend and I got a hot and sour soup and an egg drop soup. The soups were ok. Not bad but not good. We shared the salt and pepper calamari which my son loved. It's just fried calamari you can get anywhere but the dipping sauce it came with was pretty good. For the entrees we got the Mongolian beef which was kinda chewy and tasted like Korean BBQ. I wish it didn't come with just scallions. Green beans would've been much better. The other entree was the beef a la Sichuan which had shredded carrots and celery in spicy sauce which was pretty good. For dessert, we got to choose these little shot glass filled with different cakes. We picked the red velvet cake and the chocolate mousse. I recommend the chocolate mousse. From the happy hour menu we ordered the chicken lettuce wraps (good but not nearly as good as the cheesecake factory ones), egg rolls (good but greasy), dynamite shrimp (good but not Asian, more like a mild chicken wing sauce) and steamed pork dumplings (good) all priced between $3-$7. I would say that this place has decent Americanized Chinese food for FL standards but not worth the price if you don't get the 2 for $40 or the happy hour menu. The entrees are regularly $13-$23 each. If I had this food at a take out spot in NYC, I would say the food was ok and find a more authentic spot but the service was good here and the atmosphere was nice.

Reservations for 9 and it still took 30 minutes to seat us. Also the pepper steak I ordered was tough and too much spice. One of our party's order wasn't placed until the rest of us were almost finished with our meals. Lots of food auctioning and not at all a good experience because the staff was over whelmed. Overall it only gets 3 stars.

I act like I don't like PF Changs but I actually do. It's definitely not authentic Chinese food however it's a good mix of East meets West. I like the consistency of their food since they are a big chain restaurant. I know exactly what I'm expecting from their food. Boca location the service is great. Today we had Stephen who managed his 4 tables including ours with a breeze and professionalism. Things which we usually get: Shrimp fried rice: I'm very picky about my fried rice. They can not be super oily and need to have egg in them. In the past I have ordered other items but still ordered these to go that's how much I like them. Hot fish: my family loves the hot fish which is sautéed fish with carrots and green beans. It's not swimming in gravy etc and it's accompanied with white or brown rice. Shrimp Lo Mein: I actually do not like how they make this and I think it has a bit to much oil and soy sauce in this however my family likes this dish. It's lo mein noodles mixed with some veggies such as mushroom and shrimp. Shrimp Szechuan: this shrimp with a really yummy red Szechuan sauce but they do not make this dish anymore and I'm not sure why they took it off the menu but the cooks always still make this when we request it. Ginger beer: I love this non alcoholic drink which is so refreshing and the ginger taste is not over whelming. Green beans : I love their appetizer with tempura batter done on green beans and fried to crispy golden perfection. Dessert favorite : chocolate wall: ok since you aren't dining near the wall of China, you can enjoy this sweet treat made up of chocolate cake, raspberry syrup and fresh berries. And dream about the wall of China. If you have never dined at Pf Changs, I suggest you do.~

Getting Old. This is a restaurant that is heavy on the sauces. In my opinion it tastes as if they are using inferior meat, chicken and fish, this method of heavy sauce use would easily disguise any inferior product delivered by a Sysco Truck. Further, it is apalling the restaurant has no wifi available at all, there is no phone cell service in the restaurant. The manager has no say on this matter, it is strictly a corporate pencil pusher bad decision. It seems like the input from management is to notify vendors when they are out of Sysco delivered chicken!!

1 star for the lettuce wraps, 1 for the Moscow mule drink. Had the coconut curry meal that didn't have any sauce, the tofu was watery. The Buddha Feast was flavorless and sauceless. Here is a tip don't go!

All around this was a disappointing visit. We were a party of six that arrived at 5:30 this evening (which is a Wed). There were probably five occupied tables in the entire restaurant and possibly a half dozen people at the bar i.e. not busy. Our waiter took our order promptly; the issues began shortly after. 1) Our daughter dropped her beverage, it was not refilled nor were we asked if we wanted it to be. (2) our order came out in three shifts with a very significant time between each; three of the adult orders, then the two kids, then the final adult order. (3) our table was not cleared at all during our dinner which made for a super cluttered table. (4) several times during dinner our beverage glasses were empty for long periods of time. General observation: (1) on the kids menu, the Buddha meal states it is sautéed veggies, it doesn't mention anything about a brown sauce. There was no way we could convince our two year old to eat veggies like that. (2) You offer meals for kids under 12 yet your utensils are over sized and difficult for younger children to eat with. It might be tidier if you had more age appropriate utensils like your age appropriate meals. I don't know that we would return; there just doesn't seem to be reason enough to.

I have never been a place such a very bad service. We waited for almost one hour even though we didn't make a reservation but there was plenty of table. I was piss I will never come back to this PF Chang and tell all my friends not to go there

I went here for mothers day, which is a true test. 5pm reservations. They had my reservation ticket printed and ready with a clean table at exactly 5pm. Amazing for mothers Day. Everyone (staff) was in good spirits. Amazing for mothers day. Service was attentive and rather fast. This is not "street Chinese food" so the selection is a little on the upscale side. The ingredients were fresh and a nice change from the stuff you get at the usual places. I have no complaints. They get extra points for the level of service provided at such a busy day of the year. The plus was all the mothers received a cake for free. And let me tell you, Id go back every day for that cake. It was basically a snickers bar made into a cake.

Chang's is a strong brand and this location is no different. The service and food are of the standard quality. I was not disappointed at this location. We started with the lettuce wraps, spring rolls, and spicy tuna rolls. All of which were great and very tasty! I could eat lettuce wraps for every meal. After that we had the house fried rice, mongolian beef (which is the best ever) and honey crispy shrimp. Loved it! We finished the day with lattes and chocolate cake! It was amazing. We're coming back!

Tonight we had a mini get together at our house and for the first time we got take out from this location. The order was correct - the food was hot, and more importantly good. We got classic dishes like orange peel chicken, orange peel shrimp, cashew chicken, sesame chicken, and Mongolian beef... There are no left-overs!

Pf changs are in the middle of changing their business model as they have updated their menus over the past few months. Now you can still order your favorites if you don't see them on the menu. We love the Sichuan shrimp and the server was most accommodative in ordering that for us. Love the service. Management is always very careful to make sure that customers are satisfied. Compared to the sawgrass location the Boca location is definitely better but that is also due to the fact that they see less tourists compared to sawgrass. But we have never been disappointed at this location. 5 stars all the way!!! If you want to enjoy a delicious meal along with great service this is the location to go to.

PF Chang's did not disappoint. It's been years since I've been there. I avoid due to the wait all day every day. However we were able to get seats quickly at the bar. I am not sure how clean the restaurant is. It may need an update. But as for the food - very good. We had Mongolian beef which was great and crispy. And we tried a new chicken dish - which was ok. The drinks were Moscow mules and they didn't come in copper mugs! The horror!! I cannot drink a mule out of a regular glass. Come on! Other than that - we liked it and we will be back.

Sadly the whole experience, while out with family, was pretty bad... The meal started with a very long hair that was in our chicken lettuce wraps, and went down from there. I personally like their location in Stamford, CT, but will not give their Boca Raton, FL location another try... It was that bad.

Happy hour lasted two. PF's flyer for happy hour appetizers and Sam Adams seasonal made our late afternoon. Outdoor seating, pleasant and knowledgeable wait staff merit a revisit even for those who dislike chain restos. Ribs, wraps, veggies, rolls, and dumplings tasted fine for this so called American Chinese Comfort Food specialist. Proximity, price, taste - what's not to like?

It seems like the quality of food has gotten worst. I honestly can't taste the the difference between Pee Wee or PF Changs. The service was okay @ best and food was the about the same or worst. The service is always good. The food is good 50% of the time. It doesn't make sense. Do they throw out the chef every other month and bring in someone who has no skills or consideration for their customers? This is a convenient location for me so I keep giving them second chances and they do great, do great, bomb. For what they charge, their win ration should be higher.

So this was my first visit ever to any PF Changs and I am in no hurry to go back. To start with, they advertised a Happy Hour and when we get there and are seated, we are told it only applies to the bar. Ok. I can deal with that. Food is ordered and my wife specifically asks for the Lo Mein to be cooked with very little oil. It comes out tasty but very greasy. We send it back and 25 minutes later, after the rest of us have FINISHED our meals, hers shows up. A bit better this time, but still not really as requested.I had ordered sushi which was globbed with mayo and filled with minimal fish...yuck! During this waiting time for her food, one of our friends orders a second beer and after asking twice, it shows up 20 minutes later! By the way, the place is virtually empty on a Monday night except for a family with a little girl perhaps about 10 who's parents have given her their cell phone and are now allowing her to stand right behind out table and SHOUT into the phone for 10 minutes. A hostess finally comes over and asks her not to touch the blinds but says nothing about "please sit down, you may disturbing other diners". By now, I have figured out that this place is poorly run and has issues with it's servers and hostesses and cooks! We get the bill, and are charged for BOTH Lo Meins! That's right, the one we sent back, and the one my wife ate! I ask to see the manager, Nick. Nick says I am sorry after I tell him our whole unpleasant experience that evening and says he will take off the two Lo Mein's. He has not the courtesy or training to deliver the corrected bill, but sends it back to us via the waitress. We are still charged for the one Lo Mein anyway. I know this is a chain and places are run differently, but if this had happened at an Outback or a Red Lobster, there would have been no paying for the meal and profuse apologies or at least an offer for a free appetizer if we came back. I am in no hurry to recommend or go back to a PF Changs, especially this location! I have had many a satisfying Asian meal at many better places.

I had soured on PF Chang's the last few years due to their extremely high fat contents in their dinner entrees; however, I am pleasantly surprised to see many healthy options have been added to the menu. They have a few big and very filling entree salads that hit the spot. I know it's a chain, but overall I was very impressed with not only the food, but also the service too. PF's also seems to be a good value. I'd come back.

I haven't been to PF Chang's in quite awhile because the area I lived in didn't have one. Just relocated to Boca Raton and was very impressed that the things I enjoyed most about the restaurant was still present. The hot fish, vegetarian wraps, and the garlic noodles. Wow! The staff wonderful as well. I ordered a Cosmo and had to send it back because it was waaaaaaaay to strong for me. That's a good thing right? Yes, but that night I had to be aware because the baby girl was with me. Great food, great staff, great drinks.

We ordered pf changs takeout last night My boyfriend got the Mongolian beef with white rice and I got pan-fried pork dumplings and a kids sweet and sour chicken. My boyfriend was very satisfied. As for me, the dumplings were great! However, the sweet and sour chicken came with the sauce on the side and they definitely did not give me enough sauce. Once I poured it on top of the chicken I realized I was having fried chicken nuggets with white sticky rice for dinner. There was barely any sauce to even make it taste like sweet and sour chicken. I'll just know next time to ask for extra sauce

5 stars! Believe it or not I've never been here before! I have passed PF Changs many times but just thought it was another "typical Chinese food" spot. We decided to go. My son loved the giant horse statue outside of the restaurant. As you walk in your eyes catch the gorgeous lighting around the room. I love how romantic it felt with the yellow lights hanging from the ceiling! We had reservations for 8:00, but we still had to wait about ten minutes to get our table. What's the point of having reservations when you still have to wait? Well it was worth the ten minute wait, but next time I won't bother making reservations. Our waitress we got was super sweet and when I asked about certain dishes, she knew her stuff! We got the two for $39 dinner deal and we weren't disappointed at all! You get a soup, main dish, and dessert! Not bad huh? :) I started off with the egg drop soup which was really good. I ended up getting the Mongolian beef as my main dish, which was out of this world delicious! It wasn't too saucy and had scallions mixed into the dish. For dessert we got the raspberry chocolate filled wontons-SO good!!! It was a really great experience and I will be back! :D

I love going to P.F. Changs, I have frequented numerous locations and have never been disappointed yet. They were beer in an ice cold glass and their beer selection is great. I personally love the Kirin which also seems to be at the cheapest one without counting the domestic choices of course. Service is good and very frienddly and I love the decor and the dim lighting and statues. They also have a decent bar section where you can sit and enjoy a came if there is one. One of my personal favorites is the mongolian beef here. I get it every time I visit. I did try their sushi and that left much to be desired, maybe they should remove it from the menu completely and stick to what they are known for.

Can not complain about the service - still good - new items on the menu that is great - I just want for once when they write thinly sliced I wish they would do that - that's my only beef otherwise good seasoning

Food is good & usually comes out pretty quickly. Prices are on the lower side. Inattentive door staff..service depends on who you get..I've have great friendly service and I've had the opposite.

  • Norman P.

I have never been impressed by PF Changs and the only reason I returned after a Loooooooong time was due to a gift card. YUCK!!!

It's been a while since we went to P F Chang's and I was rather unimpressed. The food was average...I was hoping to be reminded of why we use to go but now I know while it wasn't horrible we will never go back.,..service was terrible, it was loud and food was meh...so long!

    (3)
  • Kimbra K.

Addicting!!

Good service. Steamed dumplings tasted like an overpriced soggy waffle the morning after a long night drinking. Mongolian beef was on point as always and the sea bass was actually pretty scrumptious. Try the crab wontons - incredible but different appetizer.

The food is good, but not great here and the lines to get in are always crazy long. Service can be spotty here and really depends on what FAU student is working that shift. If you want more upscale authentic Asian food without the lines and way better service, go to Uncle Tais near the mall.

Awesome experience with the Chinese food...like the chicken lettuce wraps in Chinese style...the service was really quick...they gave or food in jus 15 mins including the main course...Pad Thai is good...

Food is great , but they need a serious staff meeting ! They need to stress that they work in a HOSPITALITY industry , never seen such miserable people working there. Bartenders with 0 personality and waiters that seemed annoyed at every question. We were a party of 12 and everyone was not happy.

Calamari was ok.. Not rings and not enough.. Scallops are really good.. Ginger chicken and brocc is real good.. Like the brown rice..

Affordable. Good for a date, group of friends, or the family.

this restaurant looks just as good on the outside, but somehow it was a letdown on the inside compared to the one in central florida. the service left much to be desired for, and the food was a little on the bland side.

Chinese Cuisine

The popularity of Chinese food in America can be adjudicated by the appearance of China Town in many major cities in the United State of America. The popular trend of ordering or opting for Chinese take away food isn't unknown in America. Chinese take away food comes to rescue when you're too tired from work or too exhausted to cook. No one can resist the temptation of eating spicy noodles, shrimp, chicken, beef or pork cooked in the sweet and spicy sauce. The cooking method of authentic Chinese food is a lot different compared to what is served in America.

Generally, Chinese use dark meat small bones and organs to cook dishes but this changes when you are eating American-Chinese fusion food prepared using white boneless meat cooked with broccoli, carrots and onions. Back in China, the food is less spicy and oily as they favor steaming and braising method for cooking the most popular dishes. So, if you have a taste for authentic Chinese food, then try finding a real Chinese restaurant in the city. You can also try the most popular fusion Chinese food like Pecking Duck, Chicken Feet, Hot Pot, Shrimp Dumpling Soup, Mapo Tofu, Wontons, Chop Suey, Egg Rolls and not to forget Fortune Cookies.

There are not many restaurants in America serving authentic Chinese food. A little research on Restaurant Listings directory can help you locate the best Chinese restaurants in the city. Chinese cuisine is continuously evolving, and you can find a variety of dishes categorized as the food for lactose intolerant, gluten intolerant, vegan, vegetarian, and diabetic friendly. So, if you have a group of friends with different taste patterns, save the hassle and visit the nearest Chinese restaurant in your city.
